Artur Barrio: Actions after Actions documents the first North American exhibition of works by Artur Barrio, an artist known for conducting and documenting politically radical, aesthetically challenging “situations” since 1968. Organized by The Galleries at Moore and curated by Brian Wallace, the exhibition was on view in the Goldie Paley Gallery at Moore from February to March 2006.
The exhibition was supported by a major grant from the Philadelphia Exhibitions Initiative, a program of the Philadelphia center for the Arts and Heritage, funded by the Pew Charitable Trusts, and administered by The University of the Arts, Philadelphia. Additional support provided by Rochelle (Cissie) Levy.
